A Date with Dilys & Isabella

Isabella is a botanist and adventurist who loves to share stories from her incredible journeys around the world with whomsoever she meets. She has visited the palace where the silent empress lives with her elephants, learnt Kung-Fu on the Mountain of Kunyu, rested in a robin’s nest and recently travelled deep inside the Amazon Rainforest where she quickly learnt that nothing is what it seems.

With delightful storytelling, gorgeous illustrations, unexpected wonders and a handsome bicycle called Dilys, Isabella whisks you away to another world. The Story Bicycle has been inspired by Japanese Kamishibai, or ‘Paper Theatre’.

Isabella (and of course Dilys) will be at Wimborne Model Town on Saturday 13th August at 2.30pm - before then they will be exploring Wimborne and chatting to those they meet - see if you can catch up with them, perhaps in the Cornmarket, the Square, on Willow Walk or the Minster Green.

Dare you visit Dorset's most haunted place!?
Ghostly goings on having never been as entertaining. Let the wonderful Granny Cousins, Poole's last 'knocker-upper' take you on a tour of the town's haunted sites - it will make you laugh, make you jump and make you wonder! Granny Cousins will be leading her chilling tours every Wednesday evening up to (and including) 24th August - for full details visit Granny's website.
